So I learned to crochet at Christmas... and I've been busy!

My sister Betsy taught me how to crochet again this Christmas. Its pretty basic, with opportunity to make things more intricate and detailed. I started with the stitch that she taught me, then added a few that I learned. See what I have been up to in my free time (instead of blogging, of course) and some gifts I have given to some friends who have just had little ones.

I started off with wash cloths... made a whole bunch of those until I could get the lines straight and tight

These are flowers for keeping the curtains open

Made some scarves

Then my friends started having kids! So here is a bootie for a newborn

Not crochet, but fun art projects anyway! For a nursery with an owl theme
