Seattle

The adventures continued in 2015 with Seattle in October. We knew it would be a little rainy, but planned for it and had a great time!

We started off our trip with a hiking day at Mt Rainier. It has been named appropriately.

This was the best view of it that we had all day. Still a nice hike, but no panoramas from this hike

Back in Seattle we are at the Chihuly blown glass museum because... you guessed it, it was raining :)
So glad we went. Lots of cool stuff to see in there.

Still at Chihuly

And it keeps going

The sun finally peeked out enough for us to take a nice walk up the hill to Kerry park. We enjoyed this lovely view of downtown before heading back down.

On our way to Victoria for the day!

Its not every day that you see a submarine being escorted by the Coast Guard

At Victoria - some nice views over the water

Cute little food shops and restaurants on the water

Lots of water at Victoria. We walked around the city and found some nice parks to visit

Our last day we hiked in the mountains just south of Olympic National Park. Beautiful views!

The birds were quite friendly and bold - this one particularly wanted a bite out of Jeremy's granola bar

At the top, now headed down. Hoping to miss the rain and we were *mostly* successful

Stay tuned for pictures of the Redwood National Forest, San Diego and Jamaica... coming up!
