Hawaii Hiking

Another trip to paradise during the winter! Yay! This time it was Jeremy and I and we spent a week in Kauai. We spent the first four nights in the southern part in Kalaheo, then the remaining 3 in Princeville. The first couple of days we did some awesome hiking. Here are some pictures!

I thought this one was amazing cause the waterfalls kinda look like bolts of lightning

Day 2 of hiking - Awa'awapuhi Trail + Nu'alolo Trail = over 35,000 steps and over 400 flights of stairs (on my fit bit this earned me the "hot air balloon award" which means I climbed as high as a hot air balloon travels). The views were worth it. Both trails were out and back to look out on the Napali Coast. You'll see.

Beginning of the day stop over at Kalalau Lookout

And the hike begins!

Some spots were really muddy

... or "rooty"

Don't look down!

Ok, you have to look down.

End of the day stop over to see Waimea Canyon
